Okay, this is the last photo from Maine. This is a tidal river, which means that its ebbs and flows are controlled by the tides. The water would disappear twice a day and get higher twice a day. It was really a gorgeous spot. Back to New York photos tomorrow!

Tidal rivers and estuaries are always good places for bird spotting.
un beau paysage. je ne connais pas la "tidal" rivière, mais l'endroit est sympathique.
a beautiful landscape. I do not know the "tidal" river, but the place is nice.
Great tidea of placing the grass in the foreground. Nice scenic shot!
It doesn't matter where you take your photo's. They are always lovely. Thanks
I love the vegetation in the foreground, great capture. And, I'm sad we aren't going to see anymore Maine photos! I know you have some....haha
Nice enough to look at all month on a calendar!
additional thought...
Sometimes, when taking a photograph, all the elements come together so well, one knows it will be good even before the shutter is clicked. I imagine you experienced that with this one!
How very beautiful!

Have a safe trip back home.

It is so serene. It looks peaceful and quiet. In short, a scary place for a New Yorker. ;)
Very nice shot. I like the angle.
