Alpaca

This is another shot from Maine taken at the Common Ground Fair in Unity, Maine. This is a fair that features organic products and things grown in Maine. This cute face belongs to an alpaca (although I don't think those are native to Maine!) I've heard that alpacas are always happiest in pairs and there was another alpaca with this one and they looked exactly alike. They were very cute and curious too.

I think this one needs a serious haircut.

At first, I thought it was a llama, but then I read the text ... interesting-looking animal.

For some reason I thought of the Bay City Rollers when I saw this Alpaca. It must be the haircut. It is cute though.

Always liked those that have an curiosity about their surroundings; bet they would make interesting photographers if they could understand the concept!

Looks like you were in their corrale?

I have never heard of or seen an alpaca before. This one's face looks like it has some personality. Very good close up picture.

He looks a bit like a cross between a giraffe and a sheep! Though he is very cute :)
