Twelfth Night

Last weekend I got to see a performance of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night on Governor's Island. It is such a nice thing to see a play outdoors and have a lovely picnic at the same time. It's one of the joys of summer in New York, and I'm sure many other places too. I'm already looking forward to doing it again next year!

I love watching plays performed out doors. This year has been a bit of a damper for that though.

Cool perspective shot! The stage seems kind of small ... that's one Shakespeare play I did not read.

Governor's Island has such a nice small town type atmosphere, I hope they do not over-develop it and try to repilacate grandious productions done elsewhere. Wish we could have been there, thanks for sharing.

I know how much you must have enjoyed the performance. I haven't been to a play outdoors before, but we have seen the symphony for Concerts in the PArk and they are fabulous.
