Port Clyde

I spent a few days last week in Maine, so I thought I'd show you a photo or two from the trip. This is a shot of the water in Port Clyde, Maine. There are lots of lobsterman in Port Clyde and it's also the place where you can take the ferry to Monhegan Island. This was the view from a restaurant, the Dip Net. They kept lobsters in that bathtub. It is such a beautiful place, especially this time of year.

un bel endroit, mais la présence de la baignoire est surprenante et assez amusante.

a beautiful place, but the presence of the bathtub is quite surprising and fun.

Cool shot. I like the bath and chair, looks like you were spying on an outdoor bathroom!

I have not been to Maine in many years, but I can smell the sea salt air and hear the gulls crying overhead. We had the opportunity to watch an old lobster fisherman draw up his traps and measure the catch. Those too big or too small he threw back into the water.

It looks very peaceful.

Maine last week! My next door neighbors were there at their "cabin" in the woods, inland on a lake the same time. Getting cold up there now, good you were not lunching on the outdoor deck! Good photo, I like the framing.

Bonjour Lori,
Maine is a great place to visit and the perfect place to relax.
What an original, surprising and funny picture!
I love it. At first I thought you took it from your room and that they put the old bathtub outside! :-)
Have a great evening.
