Flatiron Building

Here's another typical New York photo, that many visitors like to photograph too. I've tried to take pictures of the Flatiron Building (at 23rd and Fifth) before, but haven't been too pleased with the results. I'd love the see the inside of this building someday!

Neat building, framed with a beautiful sky.

Fantastic stonework. I must look up when it was built as you dont usually see that quality of detailed design today.

One would say a boat which advances on NYC. Most beautiful (especially since they finished work and to withdraw this immonde publicity which took all the initiative of Flatiron). on the other hand, I wonder whether one can visit it?

Your angle makes the building look even thinner. Guess the office space is quite narrow.

That is a fantastic shot! I like this building, too, and the sky and clouds behind just compliment it!

Now that I've learned how to do panorama's I've been wanting to find a vertical one to do.

There aren't any nifty skyscrapers around here though.

The Flatiron building is a classic. There's one very similar to it in Atlanta, and I used to love to see it when we lived near there and would go downtown.
