St. Paul's Chapel

This is a photo I took of a window at St. Paul's Chapel in lower Manhattan. I just read that St. Paul's Chapel is Manhattan's oldest public building in continual use. In fact George Washington worshipped there on his inauguration day. The chapel has an interesting cemetary outside too. Someday I'll go back and get a photo of the inside of the church to show you.

Beautiful photo, beautiful and meaningful. I like the monument with its symbols and I like the great window. I am very curious to see what it hides.

c'est une très belle chapelle, avec un vieux cimetière. J'attends avec impatience les photos de l'intérieure
It is a beautiful chapel, with an old cemetery. I look forward to the photos of the interior

Good job in capturing the architecture.

Oh that reminds me of something that happened about 10 years ago. We were toring a historic home with one of my son's classes from school. We were in a room where GW stayed and while the guides back was turned, one young lady sat in his chair. The guide almost came unglued. After they went into the next room, one of the ladies laid on his bed. :) Sorry George.

Is this the Church by Ground Zero? If it is, I visited it when I came to NYC. Its a great photo with an interesting history.
