Pier 17

Here's a sunset shot today of the South Street Seaport and Pier 17. A while back I showed a photo of one of the boats that is kept here as part of the museum. The seaport is mostly shops now and a museum too. I haven't been in a few years but walked past and snapped this shot from the Brooklyn Bridgel.

This is a panorama where it is beautifulst to get lost. The sunset on the sea, the glare on the buildings and that thread of vapor from the roof…, splendid!

You always show us some great shots of NY, but I often wonder how do you get around the city, public transport or run?

j'aime bien cet endroit de NYC, on a une belle vue sur la skyline de Brooklyn. J'aime bien prendre au Pier 17 un Water-Taxi et revenir par le Brooklyn Bridge

I like this area, NYC, it was a beautiful view of the skyline of Brooklyn. I like to take at Pier 17 - a Water Taxi and return by the Brooklyn Bridge

Very lovely sunset. I don't know which I prefer more, the sunrise or the sunset. Both are lovely.

Lori ... great shot! You captured so much with the colors, silhouette of the buildings, and the reflection of the boat ... very nice! :-)
