Arriving Train

Not much to say about this one today, other than I think it's a typical New York scene with the elevated train and the water tower in the background. I've been trying to experiment with the black and white effect lately. I look forward to seeing all of your photos this week!

j'aime beaucoup ce b&w, nous voila revenu dans le vieux NYC. c'est le train que tu prends quand tu rentres de weekend ?
I love this b&w, here we are back in the old NYC. It is the train that you take when you returned from weekend?

I love trains. When I move to Southern CA. I can take a Metro for $7 and ride along the ocean to San Diego to visit our youngest daughter. No traffic to deal with, just a pleasant train ride.

B&W is very good and dramatic, its great to be able to switch between the two and the click of a mouse. There was only B&W when I started out with photography.

The charm of this train in black and white it doesn't belong to any time...

Nice photo! the black and white gives it an 'old' feel, like an antique photo. I think that is neat!

I noticed the back and white pictures. Sometimes they are more beautiful than color. I think anyway.

Thanks all for your visits! Olivier, no, I didn't take that train that day, I just happened to be walking by when it passed though.

Very good the B&W photograph, is a difficult technique but good is you try.
I know persons that did not want they hear for B&W photograph.
Now only these work, and have taken line of rewards in Greece and in Europe.
