Merci, Olivier. J'adore le port à côté, aussi (une photo demain peut-être...) Un yacht dans le winter garden doit avoir été impressionnant. Tu sembles obtenir partout dans NYC! :)

Thanks, Olivier. I love the port also (a photo tomorrow perhaps...) A yacht in the winter garden must have been impressive! You seem to get everywhere in NYC! :)

I've been there before, too! A couple of times actually because a relative of mine works in the Financial Center. I saw pictures of this place when it was full of rubble after 9/11....
I also saw it in the one kids movie about ballroom dancing. That is such a cute movie. Mad hot ballroom is the title I think.
Great shot!

Thanks Gudl. I didn't know that movie was filmed there. I'll have to rent it! I've heard it's good. Thanks for visiting!

Only the end of the movie was filmed there.

The cove outside the Winter Garden has long been one of my favorite places. Did you know that most of the windows in the Winter Garden are the originals? Surprisingly few of them broke during the attack, and although the myth that all the glass was shattered persists, it simply isn't true.
