Bottle House

I saw this Bottle House on one of the piers in Riverside Park. Here is an inside and an outside view. It even has a shower and a little kitchen inside. (I don't think they work though!) update: It is by the artist Malcolm Cochran.

That is so cool Lori, I do need to get up there and see the city again. All we see down here are the bad parts of the city but you have shown us the beauty and some very interesting things too,

Thanks,
Greg

Thanks for stopping by Greg and Olivier.

Greg, there are only nice parts to New York! :-) (I'm just kidding with you!)

I found the name of the artist. It is by Malcolm Cochran and the name of the work is “Private Passage.” It is a recreation of the interior of a cabin from the original Queen Mary. The interior lights up at night with electric lights. I had a picture of the inside of the bottle but it disappeared from my blog. (I tried to change a word of the text and for some reason my second picture disappeared!)

Lori, you will have to upload the inside again....it happens to me, too, sometimes that I accidentally delete my uploaded photo.

Thanks Gudl, I'll try that. I might end up deleting the first picture though!
