St. Mark's Place Saturday Morning

Here is a daytime shot of a street usually associated with its nightlife. This is St. Mark's place in the East Village in Manhattan on a recent Saturday morning. It's been a while since I've been there at night, but I think it is known for its record stores, unusual boutiques and restaurants - and from the looks of it, its tattoo and piercing shops. It is also a popular spot for Japanese restaurants now. Things looked pretty quiet there that morning.

I love the East Village. There is always so much energy in the air and I love the great Japanese restaurants there.

pas trop la folie a NYC après la victoire des Giants ?.
J'aime comme toi cette partie de NYC, ta photo est très belle, on est loin de la célèbre image de Manhattan et ces building

Not too crazy at NYC after the victory of the Giants?.
Like you I like this part of NYC, your photo is fine, it is far from the famous image of Manhattan and the building

There is everything, not only the houses, the people and the shops. There is the soul of a district in a cold morning of February.

It amazing how some streets can change from daytime, to the "Night Life". A really nice shot of the morning.
