In recent years it seems that many streets and avenues in New York have been given second names. Here's a photo of a sign for 7th Avenue, which is also apparently being called Fashion Avenue. I suppose this is because it runs through the garment district. (I think those names are just for show though, since mostly they are known by their original names. ) I'm not sure why I like this photo, maybe it's because it is one of the few night shots I've taken that is not all fuzzy!

Lori, I've been at "crossroads" many times in my life. Sometimes I took the right turn....and sometimes...
Nice signposts. Nice reminders.
Who can remember "Crossroads" by Cream. How often do images make you think of songs? Enjoy your weekend Lori, photo taking has been low on my agenda recently , but I'm off to London this weekend so hopefully I'll have some shots.
Probably NY is the only City that uses two names for the same road: that “official” and that “of reference”.
You are only.
Ciao, a lunedì.
voila une photo qui me fait rever, voir le nom de ces avenues, j'ai envie de prendre l'avion..
Bon Weekend
This is a photo that makes me dream, see the names of these avenues, I want to fly ..
Good Weekend
Nice one Lori.
That is a great night shot! Good idea for a photo. Have a great weekend, Lori!
Great night shot! The symmetry is great also.
Aren't there many "famous" intersections around NYC?
Nice photo. I have a picture of NYC street signs on my bedroom wall! I like this one more!
I love this photo because the street signs are so clear and distinctly New York. And the background of buildings with lights in the windows are simply amazing.
