I was in the west village recently and walked by this building which is owned by the artist, filmmaker and developer Julian Schnabel. Apparently when the building was first unveiled there was a tremendous outcry in the neighborhood over its color and size. I really like it though. It reminds me of an Italian palazzo. I think it has a lot of character. I'd love to see what it looks like inside!

At least you can't miss that building if giving someone directions.
The Royal Hawaiian Hotel and the Tripler Army Medical Center are the two well-known pink buildings in Honolulu.
surprenant cet immeuble rose (un admirateur de Barbara Cartland ;o) ), comme toi je serais curieux de voir l'intérieur
Surprisingly this building pink (an admirer of Barbara Cartland ;o) ), like you I would be curious to see the inside
Before reading the text I have thought: but this is Venice!
Its architecture remembers it a lot, but what the ago somigliare one is that color, thus Mediterranean!
It's a house anybody could find - no lost guests with this one.
That is much better than the purple house on our street. I think it looks good.
My first impression was "wow" ...very pink. But not in a bad way.
Wow, great looking building! Knock on the door and ask to have a look around, tell him you've got a blogging community that want to know! :)
Oh I like it too. Sneak in Lori and take some pictures....:)
pink building s always draw attention, dont they..........for good or for bad....i;d love to see this one in person!
I don't think I like the color on this because the building is so big. If it was a smaller building, it might work. Just my opinion.
