Ninth Avenue Food Festival

This weekend was the Ninth Avenue International Food Festival. There were lots of delicious things to eat! Here are a few photos from the festival.

I missed it. I met my friends for brunch at my neighborhood cafe. Then it started to rain. :-(

I love those food festivals, especially the italian sausages with onions and peppers, home made lemoneade.

in 2005 I was there. the completely blocked 9th which occurred, it was impressive. I had been surprised by all these stands (there was same a crepe French stand). A festival, or one can take ten kilos only with the odor.

Looks like a nice day again. And a nice thing to spend the day! Did you find German food, too?
:-)
there is always something to do in your city, right?

It must have been a pleasant and greedy day! As Italian I have remained especially surprised from "zeppole & trousers", you must know that some of these foods are by now almost unknown to young people of my country...

OMG I love calzones, and BBQ and bread and and, I just love food. Great pictures. I like the sign for the BBQ the best.

Hi everyone,

Ming, the sausage with onions and peppers is my favorite too! Luckily we can have those a lot now with all of the street festivals!

Olivier, tu connais tous les evenements de New York! J'ai vu un stand de crepe français et j'ai pris quelques photos, mais elles n'étaient pas très bonnes. J'adore les crepes!

Gudl, I didn't see any German food but there must have been some there! (I think there are some German restaurants around that area).

Nazzareno, I'm surprised they don't know zeppoles any more in Italy. We have them a lot at the street festivals in NYC.

Thanks Mathieu and Greg too. Greg, I liked that sign with the pig also!
