A Window from The Cloisters

I took this photograph in The Cloisters, the branch of The Metropolitan Museum devoted to the art of medieval Europe. I have lots of photos from the Cloisters which I will show you over time. The stained glass in this window comes from France. For people who haven't visited before, this museum is in Fort Tryon Park in upper Manhattan. It's a beautiful museum.

Oh that is exquisite. I love stained glass windows...Such a nice shot...You can feel the depth of the room. Wish I could have seen it in person.

I don't remember if I have shared this with you yet.

If you have a Bank of America card, you can get into a lot of museums in NYC for free during the month of May.

j'adore "The cloisters".

superb, and in more there is a splendid sight. Not to forget when one goes in the “Cloisters”, to have a coffee in the small court, it is of quiet and one resting. and the walk to go from the subway in the “Cloisters”….
A tombola, it is like a form of lottery, I believe that the English word is “Raffle”.

Attractive the stained glass window and attractive the photograph, does think about a release to the inside of a cathedral.

It really looks like in a church in Europe. Very nice. Also the view in the background is beautiful. Great shot!
Of course, it makes me think about Jesus and that makes me smile.

Hello everyone, thanks for you visit and your nice comments!

Ming, thanks so much for letting me know about the Bank of America card. I wish I had one! I'll have to let my friends know too.

Gudl, I'm glad it makes you smile.
