Columbus Circle at Night

Since Greg said yesterday that New York at night scares him, I thought I'd show you a night scene today. See it's not so bad! :)

Hi Lori, I learned about your site from Olivier from Evry Daily Photo.
Just wanted to say HI to a fellow NY blogger.

BTW, I love your photo of Columbus Circle at night. I was just there yesterday and took some photos. Unfortunately, I could not get a good photo of this scene you have on your blog.

Bravo! The photo is gorgeous.

That's a beautiful night shot. I like the people sitting at the bottom of the statue. Neat colors.

I really enjoy night shots. This one is so lively!

I have posted a photo of the missing UK girl Madeleine in the hope that the more people see her, the more chance she may be found. Please take a sec to pop over to Cheltenham, to put her face in your head. Thanks to you and your readers.

Hello Greg, Lynn and moi, thank you for your visit.

Lynn, it is so good of you to spread the word about that missing child. What a horrible situation. Let's hope that the coming hours bring some good news.

Lori,
Just got here from Moi's blog. Your pictures are great! I used to travel to NYC on business and never had the chance to really know the city until my son moved to Manhattan last year. I love to walk in the city at night; actually, São Paulo is larger and more dangerous than NYC, so I know what to fear...

Thanks Geraldo. It's exciting to hear from someone in Sao Paulo! Glad to hear you get to NYC often and that you like walking here too. Have a nice weekend!

Love the colors. Beautiful photo. You'll have to take a night photo of this in the winter. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

Lori said...

Hi Barb and Martel, thanks for stopping by! Yes, Barb, that's a good idea. I'll have to do another shot in the winter. Maybe in the snow!
