Cloisters Photo #2

Today I am showing another photo from my trip to the Cloisters Museum a few weeks ago. This is the Saint-Guilhem Cloister (late 12th century) and comes mostly from the French monastery of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert (Hérault). I loved the stone work here.

cet endroit est toujours aussi beau (c'est normal, il y a plein de petits bouts qui viennent de France ;o) ). Quand on dit, que cela se trouve à Harlem, personne ne veut me croire ;o)

this place is always also beautiful (it is normal, there is full with small ends which come from France ;O) ). When one says, that that is in Harlem, nobody does not want to believe me ;O)

That is beautiful stonework. But it looks like a couple of them just got a new perm.

A stone manufacturing so fair copy to seem almost a work to the crochet-needle.

Hello everyone! Thanks for your comments.

Moi, yes thanks I had a great long weekend! I hope you did too.

Olivier, je crois que le cloisters se trouve à Washington Heights. (Juste à côté de harlem) C'est vrai qu'il y a beaucoup de trésors là qui viennent de la France! :-)

Wanda, I like your perm comment and Rosy your thingamajigs and Nazzareno your crochet needle. That's very funny!

Hello everyone else!

This is my FAVORITE part of the Cloisters. The rest tend to look very dark and stuff but this indoor yard is absolutely beautiful.
