Bikes

I guess a lot of people in this Brooklyn neighborhood have taken to riding bicycles. I don't know, some of them look like they've been there a while. I've never tried riding a bike on the streets of New York. I think I'd be too afraid with all of that traffic! Anyway, enjoy your weekend.

faire du vélo à NYC, cela ne doit pas être facile. J'ai pas vu de piste spécialement réservé pour eux sur les avenues ?

Biking in NYC, this should not be easy. I have not seen a track specially reserved for them on the avenues?

That's one thing I've noticed in NYC photos too ... no bike lanes in the streets.

Agreed, looks like some of the bike racks are being used a rent free storage! I thought there were some bike lanes on certain N/S NYC avenues? Next month(?) there is an annual five boro bike tour which I would like to do sometime. Several from our town bring their bikes in for it. That would seem like more fun that vying with the daily traffic in mid-town!

I've only done it once in Central Park. You can rent a bike near the Boathouse restaurant. :-)

But yeah, I won't want to ride a bike on the street either.

I would probably have to think twice before riding a bike in NYC. Here we have a lot of bicycle paths and special lanes, although in some places you have to share the street with the cars and that's not always completely safe.
