Okay, last photos from Philadelphia I think. This the Washington monument is in front of the Philadelphia Museum and we are looking down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway towards downtown Philadelphia.
And this is a close up shot of the detail on the monument. That's Benjamin Franklin on the right. Now I have to find some NYC photos!
Nice perspectve towards City Hall, too bad they use part of the parkway for a parking lot as it spoils the view a bit. The relief sculpture on the base of the statue is wonderful. I may have an opportunity to visit there the first week of March. Thanks for providing the incentive!
I love to take pictures and am trying to learn about photography. I hope this blog will inspire me to take more photos of the world around me and become a better photographer. Thanks for visiting!

Love the parkway shot, captures the feeling of being there.
superbe panorama, cela semble être une très belle ville.
beautiful panorama, this seems to be a very beautiful city.
Great perspective shot & close-up too!
I like these. Our national history cast in bronze (or whatever it is).
