I love these old-style neon signs. Saw this one in front of a classic diner up in Inwood. It made me want to eat a hamburger! (I'm scheduling this post ahead of time as I'm away till tomorrow. I'll look forward to seeing your photos then!)

I can tell just from the sign I would love this place. I love neon signs too.
Love that reflection, especially when blown up. Fotms a neat montage.
A colorful one! As a kid, used to be drawn to them, first by the vibrant colors, later looking at the way the glass tubes were bent and blacked out in some spots to reveal the word or symbol! I have a smaller advertising one saying "snapper" (brand of lawnmower) in orange-red, but the transformer burned out and has to be replaced. :o(
It's too bad that neon signs like those are slowly disappearing ... cool shot!
Ditto Greg's comment and love the photo Lori. If anyone reading has the time, do a youtube search for how they make neon signs. It's really cool!
A real classic! If the sign is anything to go by then the food must be good :)
Great neon sign....yes, a hamburger, fries and a milkshake would sure go good right now!!
