Shapes
I liked seeing all of the squares and rectangles in this shot. This was a photo I took looking out from inside the Staten Island Ferry terminal. You can see the end of the word "Island" and the beginning of the word "Ferry" on the sign outside, which lights up at night. This is one of those shots that doesn't show much, but somehow I still liked it. It gives a glimpse of downtown Manhattan.

That is a spectacular shot ~~~ those windows and shapes are great~~ You are quite the photographer ~~~
Love this photo and also the post on Wave Hill. I made the trek out there on one of my past trips and when I arrived it was closed. I buzzed and told them I had come from Colorado and they let me in and more or less gave me a private tour. They will always be high on my list.
et après tu as fait une ballade a Staten-Island ? j'aime bien cette photo et cet endroit dans NYC (même si je me perds souvent dans le quartier financier)
and after you have made a ballad a Staten Island? I like this picture and this place in NYC (even if I lose myself often in the financial district)
Nice perspective shot!
Awesome images Lori. Such colors and sharpness
It is definitely an interesting shot!
The blue of the sky compliments it.
You do have an eye of a photographer!
I really like this photo. I can almost imagine me standing where you are standing while taking the photo.
Those shapes and angles are wonderful! And the letters you point out are cool. And the little splash of red from the awning of the McDonald’s in contrast to all the dark colors.
Lori, I like the lines and the color. The perspective of this photo is fantastic.
what a brilliant shot! I am loving all the squares and rectangles! Love it :)
I love how you see things in shapes...awesome.....
......and the light and shadows add to the photo!
Beautiful shot!! I've been inside the terminal a couple of times and never thought of talking that photo. Great job!
Oooh, good catch! Love all the geometry going there too!
