Hispanic Society

This is a shot from the Hispanic Society of America. It is a free museum and reference library for the study of the arts and cultures of Spain, Portugal and Latin America. It’s located at Broadway between 155th and 156th Streets and it's a real gem in New York. It doesn't seem to be as visited as it should be, which is a shame. I’ll show a picture of the building from the outside some day. P.S. Today is my 100th post!

Congratulations Lori!! ;)
I'm glad I came back from the beach on Algarve to visit your 100th post. It's amazing that having visited most of the museums in Manhattan, never noticed this one. Can't hardly believe... Thanks for the hint; won't loose it next time!!

Hi Lori, I have been enjoying your photos. Pat and Rich told me of your blog. I was in Manhattan last week with my sister. Do you remember Charlene? I post photos on Flickr. Haven't put any of NYC on yet. I tried to see the lighthouse under the GW bridge but couldn't see under the bridge. We crossed over on it from PA. Heard that you all were in PA for the 4th. Have a great week......Aunt Bonnie

Congratulations on your 100th! And a great post it is, too. You've sold me - I've never visited the Hispanic Society of America, but I now plan to do so.
