Giacometti Bronze

This is another photo from my recent visit to the Museum of Modern Art. It's a work by the Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966) and is called City Square. The figures here are actually quite small, though they look lifesize in the photo. His works often have that distinctive stretched-out look.

At 1st I thought these sculptures looked like space aliens. Interesting display ... guess MoMA is one more place to visit in the Big Apple.

Nice photo. This photo reminds me of when I took a meditation class and we had to walk around each other like this without looking. We had to look down. I guess the meaning behind doing it was you wouldn't run into each other if you were in the zone. So to speak. No one did bump into each other.

I don't "get" a lot of modern art, but this is an interesting photo nonetheless. I like the lighting.
