Victorian Gardens

Back in March I showed a photo of the ice skating rink in Central Park. Well, for the summer, they've turned the skating rink into a little amusement park with rides and games. It's called Victorian Gardens. It looks like it's fun for the kids.
(Many thanks to Fénix from Bostonscapes Daily Photo for showing me how to make a url link in my blog!)

Enjoy your weekend!

An interesting slice of city life! I really like the contrast of the old office building in front of the newer one just to the left of the center of the photo. That would make a great photo by itself.

Me again, sorry for the deleted comments. I was trying to explain how to post links, but managed to make it sound way too complicated.

I like you photo a lot, btw. Have a nice weekend.

Wonderful photo. I had to enlarge to see if I could see the carousel horses but it's behind something else. The tent to the right looks like it would be a carousel ride anyway. I collect carousel horses. There is a festival going on right now in Pleasant Gap we maybe going to tomorrow.

Hi Lori, I made this step by step graphic for you. I think it's less confusing this way.

Hope this helps.

like the winter/summer comparison..for us here in Florida where the seasons are hard to come by , things stay unchanged all through the year and years ....:)

Neat shot Lori. I love the way you have captured the festivities with the city as the backdrop. I bet you have fun taking pictures in NYC.
