c'est vraiment tres beau. L'art est partout à NYC, et surtout dans les parcs, je trouve cela tres agreable toutes ces creations que l'on trouve un peu au hasard.
it is really very beautiful. Art is everywhere with NYC, and especially in the parks, I find that very pleasant all these creations which one finds a little randomly.
Wow! I haven't seen this before but then again, I rarely come here. I'm usually around Union Square and south of it.
I will definitely check it out.

Someone painted a real tree in the Conwy Valley near me. They painted it dayglo orange. It screamed out of the landscape at you but was not the horror you might imagine.
As people passed it on the train they turned and talked to strangers. Can't be bad eh!
Beautiful and also lightly disquieting ... Are they very high?
I feel some guilt when I see art that makes a statement about the environment because I am not sure that is what the artist expects my or our reaction to be. It is like the people who condemn duck and goose doo and then buy concrete ducks and geese to set on their front porch. And, dress them in clothes called, "Goose Garb." That is the kind of problem I wouldn't want to become popular among the masses.
The trees you photographed do blend in with the rest of the trees. They must have cost a fortune to make. Nice photography.

Wow! never seen one of those before. At first I thought they just sprayed the trees with paint. Hopefully, no one runs into one of these.

Nazzareno, I don't remember how tall they were actually, I don't think they were terribly high. They looked rather natural.
One can see the real effect when one enlarges the pic.....great find, Lori....will love to visit NYC some day :)
