Man and Statue

A big thanks to John from My Viewfinder who helped to improve the photo from today. He did great things with it!! The top one is the new-and-improved version. I must learn how to do that!

A scene I saw recently in the Museum of Modern Art. Somehow the statue reminded me of the man standing next to it. Perhaps it could be an abstract version of him!

Ciao Lori,I have some difficulties to find a similarity between man and statue. A lot pleases me the way to lean itself and of to look at beyond.

bien vu, on dirait deux amis qui discutent ensemble, bravo pour le coup d'oeil. Hier, j'espere que tu n'etais pas bloque dans un ascenceur pendant la grande panne d'electricité ?

well considering, one would say two friends who discuss together, cheer for the glance. Yesterday, I hope that you were not blocks in a ascencor during the large power failure?

Hi Neva, Dina and Nazzareno! Thanks for visiting!

Merci Olivier. Non, heureusement, je n'étais pas bloqué dans un ascenseur hier! Le panne d'éléctricité était sur l'est de Manhattan et le quartier où je travail est sur l'ouest. Il doit être un cauchemar d'être bloqué dans un ascenseur !

The lower leftward-jutting portion of the art, is echoed by the man's hip which is also leftward-jutting.

Even a slight similarity like that can catch the human eye.

I had a photography instuctor in college years ago who told us to always look for repeating patterns in different things in a scene. It definitely adds interest.

Work between the two photographs is very interressant. it emphasizes well the with dimensions graph of the image. Beautiful catch.

Nice photo. I'm trying to figure out the differences between the two photos. I can see that the top photo is cropped and the contrast increased, but don't see the other changes. Care to explain?

I prefer the first which makes it possible to imagine a discussion
between the two men.

but about what do they speak?
two men : of the blonde who passes in the street
