Green Gorilla
A few months ago I took this shot of this creature (a gorilla perhaps) giving a wave. (Not such a great shot from behind, I know, but I thought he was cute.) He is at the restaurant Tavern on the Green in Central Park. They have quite a few lovely topiaries there, which are especially beautiful at night when they are lit up. I'll have to go back and get a night shot sometime.

Hello!
Very good posting.
Thank you - Have a good day!!!
It is the sole ecological gorilla that I know! Between, the other, it seems except for dangerous of those that they see themselves in the film...
We watch the Regis and Kelly show in the morning, and he talks about Tavern on the Green all the time. It must be a unique place!
Interesting photo!!! many thanks for your compliments about my cake on Dina's blog.
That is a big gorilla. I wonder how long it took for it to grow grass all over it.
Today I take you to The Hitching Post in Amish country.
Hi Monkey!!
And Hi Lori ;-)
Great photo!
a photograph of night of the tavern, that would be a good idea. it is superb this tavern with all these animals carve. the gorilla is impressive. But I never have eat inside, I wonder what that is worth? (does that have to be expensive not?)
Lori, thanks for stopping by on my blog. I commented about your comment....farm girl in NYC!! How cool is that?
Thanks for your visit also Lori -
You really are good with the camera!!!
I reckon you could get a few bigfoot rumours going with this one.
Hi all!
Barb, I'm not sure what it is covered with. It did probably take a long time to grow!
Meredic, yes it is like bigfoot. (I had forgotten about bigfoot!)
Thanks everyone for saying hello today!
I believe that it would be dangerous to go back the night there
Because the night the gorillas s`anime and attacks
Lori: I love that shot. As a litle girl, I had a fantasy about getting lost in a jungle and a Gorilla became my friend, and helped me find my Mom" Crazy, but I still remember that!
Bergson, you are funny!
Wanda, I guess you've always had a good imagination, even as a child!
That's a really nifty looking topiary. It looks very large too, at least from my perspective.
i love this one!
