Here are some more of the Tom Otterness sculptures I saw in the subway at 14th Street and Eighth Avenue. These guys are sneaking in under the gate and are being caught by a policman.
And there are also some more in various places along the platforms. There are quite a few in the station in places you wouldn't expect to see them.
toujours aussi superbe ces statues d'Otterness, je suis fan. Annula (de blather from brooklyn) a rencontre Otterness dans son atelier, voir ici. always so superb these statues of Otterness, I am fan. Annula (blather from Brooklyn ) has meeting Otterness in its workshop, to see here.
Love the sculptures and especially your take of them. Must go and see, will be in that area one of the next few Sundays. Thanks for the day brightener.
What a cool exhibit! I love art in public spaces, especially when its whimsical and fun, like this. Hopefully, this is brightening the visages of commuters all over NYC!
Have you seen the two on the elevator to the subway at 14th St and 8th Avenue? I must have passed them at least 100 times before I noticed them .. when Otterness lent his art to the City it was displayed along the Upper Broadway Malls from Columbus Circle to 114 St ...
I love to take pictures and am trying to learn about photography. I hope this blog will inspire me to take more photos of the world around me and become a better photographer. Thanks for visiting!

His artwork is pretty funny! Great job with the shots, like the angles you got!
I love the sculptures !
That girl in the last photo looks a little guilty as well. Those are so cute. I would have missed them too.
