Soho Street

I took this photo on a stroll through Soho a while back. It's a neighborhood where I like browsing in the shops and galleries and it has lots of nice restaurants. It looks like it was quiet on the street that day. I added the black and white for an "artistic" effect. I'm not sure if I like it better in color though. Still must take some more pictures to post....

I think the black and white makes it more interesting. It looks like a 'classic' that way.

Black & white has a definite charm, I like it and of course, the subject of the photo. :)

avec cette photo en b&w, on ne se dirait pas à NYC, mais dans une petite ville. Elle a beaucoup de charme, j'aime beaucoup.
Pour ce weekend, je te souhaite un bon Bastille Day.

with this picture in b&w, it does not seem to NYC, but in a small town. It has a lot of charm, I like very much.
For this weekend, I wish you a good Bastille Day.

Hi Lori! Wouldn't mind if you post it also in colour...
Well, this month promises to be even more hectic than the already chaotic previous ones! Anyhow, a blog break is absolutely needed to balance the atmosphere!
So let's enjoy your NYC. Loved to re-visit the Ferrara, and the MET!
Meanwhile Blogtrotter has now posted my 401st post (on Ann Arbor, Michigan)! Have a great week!

Definitely the black and white. It always pays to view the enlarged versions of your photographs -- so much cool detail! I particularly like the fire escapes here.

It looks like an old photo if it weren't for the cars. I love the black and whiet photo.

I think the black and white majes the photo. It really adds something to it. Its a great shot of a very cool area of NYC.

Except for the cars, this photo looks like it could be 20, 30 50... years old or more. A timeless image!
