Sheep Meadow

Here's a photo from this past weekend of people enjoying the beautiful weather on Central Park's Sheep Meadow. No sheep anymore, but apparently it was a a place where sheep grazed in the past. (At least I think that is how it got it's name!) We've gone back to the chillier weather, but we had a nice taste of spring on Saturday. I read that on a nice summer weekend as many as 30,000 people can turn out to relax on the Sheep Meadow.

A great picture, doesnt the temperature change from day to day. this time last year we had a mini heat wave with temps around 25 - 30 C. This year they are about 9 - 14 C.

Wow, for a split second, I thought it was Tokyo with all those blossoms in the trees.

Nice to see you're having nice weather in NYC.

Our city park was full as well last weekend. Sheep in NY, I would have never thought that.

Again, you've blended the natural and urban elements beautifully.

The blossoms almost look like falling snow. Very cool!
