I just love orchids and this weekend I made a trip up to the Bronx to see the annual Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden. This year my dear friend even gave me a special tour of the garden. How lucky! The orchids were absolutely spectacular. My pictures don't do them justice. I wish I could spend every day there amongst the flowers!

Yes, I love them, too. I received an orchid for Christmas from my daughter and it is blooming and blooming. I liked it so much, that I gave one to a friend for her birthday. Definitely great plants! I can imagine that you enjoyed the show ;-)

Your pictures are very nice. But I know what you mean - garden photography is a specialty on its own, I believe. I like how they decorated the little house. Very prrrretty!
