Books

You can find lots of book sellers along Broadway on the upper west side of Manhattan, especially ones selling used books. I've never actually bought a book from one of them, though it is tempting to stop and browse the titles. This guy was even selling books autographed by the author. I wish you all a great weekend and see you Monday!

a Paris nous avons les bouquinistes, mais c'est vrai a NYC il y a souvent de longue planches avec plein de livres. J'aime bien cette ambiance, même si je ne comprends rien, par réflex j'aime bien regarder. Bon weekend et bonne lecture

Paris we had the booksellers, but it's a true NYC there are often long planks with a lot of books. I really like this atmosphere, I do not understand anything, but by reflex, I like to watch. Good weekend and good reading

I like the small markets, of all the types, especially those of new books and used, I like the curious people, but I had not seen so many books of the same author yet and all autographed ones!
P.S. They cost more than the others without the autograph of the author?
Buon fine settimana!

Used book shops are one of my favorite places to hang out. I never come out empty handed!

I love sidewalk sales. We will be doing that starting tomorrow. I will make sure and take pictures.

It's the best of both worlds, finding a bargain and shopping outside on a crisp spring day!

The last time I personally saw books sold on the sidewalk was when I was in Berkley,CA ... 20 yrs ago ... one could probably find some good bargains.

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by today.

Nazzareno, I can't say for sure if the ones that are signed cost more, but I imagine they do. I didn't look at the prices!

Very nice. We don't have things like that here. I bet it'd be good to look through all those books. Hope you have a good weekend too!

Spring in NYC is great (all seasons are, actually...). Your orchid show looks wonderful and 34th, after shopping at the Macy's (confess...), is lovely... ;)
The «bouquinistes» are a great treat, but only on weekends isn't it?
Have a great weekend!

I like looking through books. I've started reading alot more over the past year. I think I'm even getting a little faster at reading, the more I read. I have several books signed by the authors.
