And while I'm on the subject of public art....this was a statue I saw recently at the "New York Museum of Conan Art" a temporary exhibit in the Time Warner Center. It's all paintings and other works of art with the subject being the talk show host Conan O'Brien. This particular one is made of pencils (no idea who created it). Now that is clever ... blown up the detail is quite unique to behold. I love public art.
