Looking Up

This is a shot I took a few weeks ago while walking on Park Avenue. I believe the building on the right is the famous Lever House, which looks normal to our eyes today (and rather small by today's standards), but it was quite innovative when it was built in 1952. I always enjoy looking up at the skyscrapers.

c'est un très bel immeuble. bravo pour ta perspective, et pour le reflet en bas. New York commence déjà a me manquer ;o)

It is a very beautiful building. Bravo for your perspective, and to reflect on the bottom. New York was already beginning to miss me

This is really an interesting shot! The buildings you picked are very shiny! In a way cold, too.
Great angle!
Have a nice day, Lori.
We got our first snow, but only a tiny bit. Still cold and very windy.
Yuck! How about in the city?

The architectures that are outside the habitual standards according to your sensitivity, become, from the other world part, absolutely current.
The Lever House, still, is so good that it deserves a different speech.

I was thinking the same as Dave...Or does it hurt your neck to look up that high!!!

Me too!!!
Yes, it is the Lever House indeed. Did you get a look at Damien Hirst's Virgin Mother which stands in the courtyard? It's quite amazing too.

Neat shot... I have one like this I posted a couple of days ago.
I like how you've caught the reflection of another one also.
