Bamboo Installation

Today I'm showing a photo I took at the Kiku show at The New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Kiku are Japanese chrysanthemums, but as part of the exhibition, there was also a giant bamboo sculpture and a bamboo installation designed by Tetsunori Kawana. These pieces of bamboo were part of that installation. They made an interesting noise when they flapped in the wind. It was a beautiful exhibit and tomorrow I'll show you one of the flowers.

Like a tent frame waiting for the canvas to be thrown over it.

Bonne idée cette perspective

Cool! Looks like palm trees with leaf-less fronds.
