Yes, it tasted better than it looks! This was Taiwanese shaved ice that I had in Flushing, Queens last weekend. I never knew there was such a thing before. They put the ice in first and you can choose your flavors for on top.

The dark red berries/cherries top appears tasty, but the dark green looks like hot dog relish! - but like Olivier, I too, would have to taste it before passing judgement!
Ps. I saw the ice skaters at Bryant Park yesterday AM!
That one looks interesting ... somewhat different from the ones here.
You gotta come back to Hawai‘i to get the giant ones they sell in Hale‘iwa at Matsumoto Store!
