Bridge

For some reason the George Washington Bridge was all lit up yesterday (maybe it was for President's Day). Anyway, I've never seen it lit like that before. It was very beautiful, but unfortunately I can't take very good photos at night.

Hello Lori
I see your blog often.
What camera/lens are you using? It takes practice to shoot at night but keep experimenting.

happy shooting!

Very nice! First time I've seen a night shot of the George Washington Bridge like that! :-)

It must have been for president's Day! I think you've captured this wonderfully.

Agree, available night photos are tough to get right, but you do well as I remeber there were some very memorable ones! Back in the film era, I used to use a thin small tripod, but hear they are actually illegal to use on public property in the city now! (trip factor, lol!)

And I like this one, how the lights inside the tower structure are virtually ablaze, highlighting the stell outer beams!

I just saw the bridge light like this about a month ago with no national holiday in sight... i'd say it increases the beauty of the bridge 10-fold, easily!
