Falcon

This was the falconer at the annual medieval festival that takes place each year in Fort Tryon Park in northern Manhattan. Wish I knew more about the bird he is holding. Have a good weekend.

Wow! Cool shot! The falcon's eye is quite piercing.

The Air Force Academy flies a falcon around their football field before each home game.

Lori, I think it's a Coopers Hawk. Abe Lincoln shows them quite often on his blog.
