Parade

This is the bagpipe band from Manhattan College, a Catholic school in the Bronx. I took a walk at lunch yesterday and saw a bit of the St. Patrick's Day parade. I even saw a dog dyed green, but unfortunately didn't get a shot of him.

Nice action shot! Looks like the weather held for the parade. St. Paddy's Day in NYC ... would love to see that in person one day.

'Tis truly a NYC experience to behold, the innumerable pipes echoing betwixt the tall canyons of stone and steel, stirring one's heart and soul, whether one be of Gaelic blood or not.

Good you caught a part of the parade, it always heralds the beginning of Spring! Cant' fathom what the green dog thought of it all, lol!
