Bethesda Terrace

This is a shot of the staircases at the Bethesda Terrace in Central Park. The terrace overlooks the lake and the Bethesda Fountain and is one of the favorite spots for people to visit in the park. This was taken after our snowstorm of last week when the snow was still fresh and white.

I like how you captured the symmetry of the stonework that is highlighted by the snow! Never realized that each of the stone panel's carvings are somewhat different!

Beautiful photo.

I loved it when we visited there and we walked through the under-pass bit. There were a couple having wedding photos taken under it. Very lovely indeed.
