Columbus Avenue

These are some of the apartment buildings along Columbus Avenue on the upper west side of Manhattan. It's a great street for window shopping and eating out, though you can't see any of the shops in this photo. I always enjoy strolling along Columbus Avenue.

We all looked up at those silent sentinals, which are less disguised in this area. The upper archetectural detail of the buildings and chimneys is facinating, too.
