Fogged In

A view of the Empire State Building missing its very top the other day. Actually it was covered in fog. In this photo you can see one of those old advertisements that is fading away. Have a good week.

Fog adds mystery. The Empire State looming above all; even though a bit obscured, one knows "who" is "boss building." And mentioning mysterys, that looks like a house on the center rooftop, behind the garden trees. That sign is a fading reminder of times when a whole company could make a business out of selling shears and nail files, and it was important enough to advertise it in a big way!

Love this pic! It has a lovely atmosphere about it. The Empire State is one of my favourite buildings in NYC!

Wow! The fog looks like it was pretty thick. They call it the "marine layer" in SoCal, 1 time it got thick. and could barely see across the street.

I wonder wnat the view was like from the top that day.

I love these old faded signs, harks back to old New York before all the glass box buildings.
