Subway Sculpture

At the subway station at 14th Street and 8th Avenue there are some great sculptures by Tom Otterness, an American artist who is known for displaying his works in public spaces like plazas, parks, etc. The ones in the subway are actually quite small and you might miss them if you aren't paying attention! I'll show you more of them some time. The exhibit is called Life Underground.

Wonderful! Made me smile. I have never seen them in person as that is not a usual stop, but will pause and look the next time I'm in the city and on the 8th Avenue Line.

Je suis un fan de Tom Otterness, je ne connaissais pas cette œuvre superbe. A NYC l'année dernière j'avais pris des photos d'Amedée avec des statues d'Otterness.

I am a fan of Tom Otterness, I did not know this superb work. A NYC last year I took pictures of Amedee with statues of Otterness.
