Today on Veteran's Day we recognize all of the sacrifices of our veterans and their families. To honor the day, this is a photo from the Civil War section of Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. You can see more about it here. http://video.nytimes.com/video/2007/05/25/nyregion/1194817114247/green-wood-remembers-civil-war-dead.html

Today is also a public holiday in France to commemorate world war 1.
Great shot! Yes indeed, we need to thank any person in uniform for serving our country. It's amazing to see their face light up over our appreciation for them.
Great photo and reminder Lori. Thank you.
Is it politically correct to thank John McCain? After all, he is a veteran. Well, I'm not sure, but "Thank you anyway, Mr. Mc Cain."
The missing spaces seem like they are waiting for thier missing brothers...
A fitting photo for today, 90 years since the end of the First World War
