Marathon 2008

I didn't get very many good photos from the marathon this year. I forgot to take out my camera after the beginning! But here are a few....this is arriving at the start in Staten Island super early in the morning.

Crossing the Verrazano Narrows bridge from Staten Island to Brooklyn....
... and one of the fireboats celebrating the start as the runners crossed over the bridge. It was a lovley sight. I hope you have a great week ahead!

Wow! Nice photographs, but that one in the middle is a real stunner! Great work.

I assume you were one of the runners?

Nice action shots. Did you run? How did you do?

Wow, it gives new meaning to "run-and-shoot".
:-D Cool shots, nonetheless.

Hope you had a good run!

Did you run again this year? I was pleased for Paula Radcliffe especially after her diisappointment in the Olympics.

bravo et beau reportage. tu es vraiment courageuse, en plus tu coures avec ton APN. Traverser le "Verrazano Narrows bridge" cela doit être impressionnant. Encore un gros FÉLICITATION.

bravo and beautiful story. you're really brave, and more you progress with your camera. Crossing the "Verrazano Narrows bridge " that must be impressive. Another big welcome.

I saw it on the sofa; great exercise seeing Paula! You just get tired with her way of running... ;))
And the winner of the Men's speaks Portuguese... Great work!
Look forward to reading you at Blogtrotter.
Have a great week!

Maybe a camera mounted on a headband would be fun with a remote trigger. My only NY running is in the little Lincoln Tunnel 5K each April, missed last year though. How many marathons have you run- hope this was a good one!

Hi everyone, yes I ran it this year. It was my 8th marathon over all, to answer your question. It was hard but fun!

Good job on the photos.

Did you run too or did you go there for the photo op?

To all of Lori's worldwide blog pals... she was AWESOME in the Marathon, her 7th NYC run. She is way too humble to tell you that, but she did great, and we're all so proud of her. AND she was taking pictures besides...incredible!!!
