It's a big day here on election day and I was trying to find an appropriate photo for it, that would show both sides. I saw this McCain supporter making his case recently in front of an Obama sign. Yes, clever photo. I bring "leftover" (actually make sure I have enough) Halloween candy bars to the poll workers when I vote in the later afternoon. They are dragging by then and like the sugar rush. They are the ones, of both parties, who play a key part in making the system work. I enjoy the visit to the polls and would not vote absentee unless due to illness or travel.
We hope to be dancing in the streets very soon.......
but are holding our breath.

HA! I looked everywhere for a good McCain photo op but can't find any. Apparently, they are not very popular in the city. :-)
