It's one of my favorite museums and I visit often (which is why I've been showing so many photos from there.) Fifth Avenue
Here's a view today looking south along Fifth Avenue with the Metropolitan Museum on the right. It's one of my favorite museums and I visit often (which is why I've been showing so many photos from there.) The fountains on the right are shut off for the winter but they are a beautiful and refreshing spot to enjoy in the summer time.

I like the way the flag stands out because of the back lighting. Good choice of perspective!
It appeals to me to watch the museum, and it appeals to me to watch also the persons who seated on the scales, heat themselves to the first sun... lack only an ice cream.
