State Theater

This is a photo I took of one of the Eli Nadelman sculptures in the lobby of the New York State Theater. The State Theater is home to the New York City Ballet and the New York City Opera. The first time I ever visited New York I saw a performance there and I've always thought it was a very glamorous looking place.

It looks a thoughtful statue.

I love the gold colors and the way the light plays on the statue. It's very elegant.

Beautiful the use of the theater to propose great sculptures, beautiful also the warm tonalities of the photo.

I like the way you had taken this picture in this type of an angle and the way the colors had came out as well, this photo had came out very nice indeed.

I've never been inside the State Theater although I've been to the operas at the Met a few times.

It's weird how these buildings are next to each other and I never bothered to walk into the other.

I think I will now after seeing your photo here.

It almost looks like a porcelain figure.
