Katz's Deli

Here's a picture today of the sign outside Katz's deli. It's a classic New York style deli on the Lower East Side. I took this photo a while back when I was practicing some night shots. I wish I had an inside picture to show you. I love the food there!

Hi.Lori, can you set Blogger to post at a pre determined date and time? I have just noticed that many of your posts are done at the same time. Cheers.

most famous deli of NYC, KATZ' S is its famous scene in “When Harry meets Sally”. It is not that which I prefer.
In one week NYC, I give you my email, if one can take the time of a photograph and glass, has to see whether your timetable is good.

Nice shot of that sign. I have yet to do any night shots. I did them over half a century ago but none lately.

Nice work.

That is a great night shot. Well done. The colors come out great in the light.

If I visited NYC, the first restaurant I'd want to visit is a real New York deli like Katz's. It's these small restaurants, not the "fine dining" establishments, that make any city's food unique and distinctive. It's the same way with the small neighborhood places in New Orleans.
