Cobblestones

I always like to find streets with the old cobblestones. This one was near New York University. Have a nice week!

des vieux pavés dans NYC, un peu de Paris (bien qu'il y a de moins en moins de pavés dans Paris). Et dessous les pavés, la plage ?.

Je ne connaissais pas l'expression 'Cobblestones'

of the old Cobblestones in NYC, a little Paris (although there are less and less Cobblestones in Paris). And below Cobblestones, the beach?.

when I was doing my Post graduation, we had a Niagara street made of paving bricks near to my univ. I always used to hang out there...:))

Wow! I thought cobblestone streets were only in small towns. It definitely matches with the architecture.

I like street with cobblestones!

My husband studied (post graduation)in New York University many years ago, in 1967. But in that time, I did not know him yet.

I love the way they look, but I sure would hate to ride my bicycle on them.

Lovely shot. I can remember as a kid growing up in NYC when there were still cobbles with trolley tracks running up Columbus Avenue. I linked to your blog through another blog. I always like to find NYC photos.
